YG-1 Launches the New “Double Sided 6°Front Angled Parting-Off Tool”
Reduce Cutting Force and Improve Component Quality with Front Angle by Removing the Pip on the Finished Component YG-1 has launched a newly developed “double sided 6° front angled parting-off tool” optimized for steel, stainless steel and cast iron machining. It can reduce cutting force and machine load as well as remove the burr formation and the pip on the finished component due to the front angled geometry. The new solution YG602 is now available both metric and inch sizes, and YG603 will be in stock soon from the end of September.

Launch of COOLANT THROUGH HOLDERS SYSTEM for Parting & Grooving
Coolant Through Holder System with over and under coolant for Parting and Grooving. Improving chip control and chip formation with significantly better tool life – YG-1 is launching Coolant Through Holder System with over and under coolant for Parting and Grooving. Coolant Through holders provides superior level of machining efficiency with improvements in chip control and chip formation as well as a very positive impact on tool life Coolant Through holders with over and under coolant offers advantages in machining process:- Over coolant reduces the contact time between the chip and the insert, resulting in improved thermal transfer hence reducing crater wear typically seen in parting and grooving- The under coolant fulfills two major functions; first, it concentrates the thermal development into a smaller area, increasing plasticization in the cutting zone; second, the reduction of flank wear along the cutting edge, but more importantly along the radii- By effectively reducing the cooling time of a chip, chip formation will be significantly improved with both chip breaking and desired chip formation- Typically, 20-50% tool life improvement compared to a non-coolant through holder It will be launched in metric and will be in stock within January 2022 in Europe.
