YGTS and Zhejiang Eight Plus One Precision Machinery Forge Stronger Partnership Through Workshop (China)

On October 24th, 2024, the indexable insert product management team and China sales team from YG-1 headquarters (HQ), along with YG-1 Tool Solutions Co. Ltd. (YGTS), visited Zhejiang Eight Plus One Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the C&U Group. This visit enabled a detailed and constructive exchange on cutting tool applications, which was an important collaboration opportunity for YG-1.

Led by Mr. Geunwoo Park, the R&D Director of Indexable Inserts at YG-1 HQ, YG-1’s team participated in Zhejiang Eight Plus One’s workshop to gain insight into end user needs and offer professional solutions for cost reduction and enhanced efficiency. Mr. Park shared insights into market trends for indexable inserts, explaining how YG-1’s products enhance tool life and processing efficiency through innovative designs, carefully selected materials, and advanced coating technologies. Mr. Soohyun Cha from the indexable insert product management team at YG-1 HQ presented practical guidance on minimizing tool wear and preventing chipping to maximize tool life.

Additionally, Mr. Andy Qu, the South China Sales Director at YGTS, gave a technical presentation on machining hole and thread, detailing key design features of YG-1’s products and offered solutions to common machining challenges. He highlighted the solutions to improve tool life and efficiency of specialized for hub units. He also showcased YG-1’s flagship product, the HSS-E YG Tap Chip Breaker, which addresses productivity challenges caused by long chips and prevents bird nesting in automated production lines.

This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid the groundwork for broader cooperation. YG-1 is dedicated to continuous innovation, customization, and high-performance cutting tool solutions that meet Zhejiang Eight Plus One’s production needs.
